DraftKings college football picks October 17: Go far with Omar

We are back once again with two college football games for our DraftKings college football tournament on Thursday night. We actually have some flash on this Thursday night though. Along with our FunBelt duel, we have the Pac 12 joining the fun.

More from DraftKings

UCLA and Stanford are shadows of what they were even from week 1 with all of the injuries, but this could still be an entertaining matchup. The thing to watch here is the status of the quarterbacks. KJ Costello is definitely out. Davis Mills is doubtful. There is no word on DTR from the UCLA side yet, but after the way Burton played against Oregon State, why would UCLA hurry DTR back?

The quarterback issues in this game actually make the slate harder than it should be. There are a lot of what if scenarios that could play out over the next 36 hours before kickoff.

Last Thursday I finished just outside the money in the DraftKings college football tournaments. A poor showing from my punts in Bailey Hockman and Gresch Jensen kept me just below the cash line.

Be prepared for high ownership here. Even in GPP’s last week, Caleb Evans was 95.1% owned and Josh Johnson was a cool 80%. 76.5% of us took advantage of Caleb Twyford being listed as a WR despite being the starting running back.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. DraftKings college football scoring realizes that!
