Fantasy football picks: Week 7 TNF Broncos vs. Chiefs

Royce Freeman – We talked about Lindsay as a pay up option, but what about Royce as a value play? Well, he is priced at only 8k, which is extremely soft considering how much opportunity he is getting, especially on passing downs. He has been averaging around five targets per game, and also just over ten rushing attempts. One big problem is the fact that he is getting basically no goal-line work, which has limited him to zero touchdowns. This is a game script based play though, where my thought process is Denver could be playing from behind. That will force them to keep Freeman in the game as a pass catcher, and occasional draw play. At that price tag, he should easily hit value.

Harrison Butker – Of course, we have to mention at least one kicker. Butker is one of the best kickers in the league, and he just so happens to play for one of the best offenses in the league as well. He has missed only one field goal and one extra point. Scoring less than seven points only one time. I would expect Kansas City to get stuck in the red-zone more often against a good Denver defense than usual. That will lead to plenty of field goal opportunities for Harrison. Worst case scenario he just kicks a lot of extra points, which works fine as well.

Demarcus Robinson – I am not going to say a whole lot about this play other than Sammy Watkins is out, which will boost the outlook on Robinson. He played 86% of the snaps last week with Watkins out, which surprisingly led the time. Now they were “easing” Hill back into action, so he should see an increase in snaps this week, but Robinson will be playing as the number two receiver. At a cheap price, with solid upside, I like him a lot.
