Fantasy Football picks: Five bounce back players for Week 8

Kyler Murray – I think I can speak for quite a few of us when I say that week seven was pretty bad. Kyler did not help matter very much, as he put up a whopping six points against the lowly Giants defense. Some of it wasn’t his fault though, the Cardinals decided to go with a run heavy game script, and Chase Edmunds exploded, and was able to dominate the Giants on the ground. This allowed Arizona to get out to an early lead, and just coast throughout the rest of the game. There was also some bad weather which will always impact the ability to throw the ball.

This is a get right spot for the rookie quarterback, as New Orleans ranks ninth in fantasy points given up to opposing quarterbacks. Murray is a great duel-threat player as well, which boosts his upside on each slate. He has not showcased that running ability a whole lot during the past two games, but he did have 21 rushing attempts during the past two weeks, so the results will come. Last week was also his lowest passing attempts in any game at 21. He previously had more than 30 in each game. I think the game with New York was more of an outlier than anything else, and Murray should be able to rumble against the Saints passing defense.
