12. Jared Goff (LW: 16)

Goff climbs up the rankings a bit. His performance against the Falcons was fine enough. Frankly, he’s moving up because of the rash of quarterback injuries and poor play behind him. Throwing for 7.0 yards per attempt with nine touchdowns and seven interceptions in Sean McVay’s offense is not optimal.

11. Philip Rivers (LW: 8)

Rivers has to fall. He eclipsed 300 yards against the Titans but the Chargers lost again, Rivers has been inconsistent throughout the year — some his fault, some not. While Rivers should be in the Hall of Fame one day, this season is turning into a nightmare.

10. Matthew Stafford (LW: 7)

The Lions lost at home to the Vikings on Sunday, but Stafford played another strong game. For the season, the veteran has 1,751 passing yards on 8.0 yards per attempt with 13 touchdowns against three interceptions. It’s not reminiscent of his glory days with Calvin Johnson, but Stafford has done a nice job all year for Detroit.

9. Jacoby Brissett (LW: 13)

Brissett stepped in for the suddenly-retired Andrew Luck a few weeks before the season and signed a two-year extension. Since then, he’s led the Colts to a 5-2 mark, best in the AFC South. He’s also thrown 14 touchdowns. Only Matt Ryan, Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson have more.
