DraftKings EuroLeague Basketball Picks October 24

The heavier piece of round 4 of the EuroLeague is again for the Thursday DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments. This is a normal five game and four game split though, so it’s not abnormal like last week.

More from DraftKings

This slate is loaded with nine players priced in five figures and three more just below. We need to find some value here! Let’s check the injuries to see where some of that may be.

Out: Stefan Jovic, G, Khimki; Kevin Pangos, G, Barcelona; Josh Huestis, F, Munich; Thomas Bray, G, Munich; Egor Vialtsev, F, Khimki; Evgeny Valiev, F, Khimki; Nemanja Nenadic, F, Belgrade; Andrey Zubkov, F, St. Petersburg; Chris Kramer, G, Khimki.

Questionable: Malcolm Delaney, G, Barcelona; Mike Tobey, F, Valencia; Pau Ribas, G, Barcelona; Guillem Vives, G, Valencia; Ian Vougioukas, F, Athens; Anton Pushkov, F, St. Petersburg; Joan Sastre, F, Valencia; Tolga Gecim, F, Efes; Bugrahan Tuncer, G, Efes; Artem Pustovyi, F, Barcelona.

That is one again an extensive list, but Jovic, Delaney, and Ribas are the only really important ones. Bray and Huestis haven’t played yet this year. Most of the rest are bench players that play sparingly anyway.

I got  a fourth place finish on Friday thanks to Micic and Milutinov and heavy exposure to the double overtime game between St. Petersburg and Olympiacos. I was still 12 points out of first place though.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.
