Scrubs

Patrick Beverley (at GS- $4,600 on DK; $5,100 on FD): Beverley turned in a strong start and he gets another matchup where he’s going to give it 100% on every player. Anytime Beverley has the challenge of a Steph Curry or a LeBron James, you know you’re going to get the absolute best out of him. He’s going to rebound more than expected while also giving you assists and points.

Kevin Huerter (at DET – $4,100 on DK; $5,000 on FD): Hueter is undervalued on DraftKings as he gives you the three ball and really started to come alive at the end of last season. The Pistons are also on a back-to-back, so there is going to be some tired legs, even if it is early. Look for a good scoring output from him.

Jabari Parker (at DET – $3,800 on DK; $4,500 on FD): Jabari Parker doesn’t offer defense, but we’re not worried about defense in DFS. Parker gets points and rebounds, he’s coming off the bench so he can take advantage of back-up players, and his salary makes him easy to put into your lineup. Look for him to easily outplay his value.

Brook Lopez (at HOU – $5,800 on DK; $5,800 on FD): Lopez is coming off a strong season, turning into an elite three-point shooter and shot blocking machine. As mentioned on the previous slide, I don’t trust the Houston defense this early and if Westbrook and Harden are going to drive, Lopez is going to challenge. He’s a steal on FanDuel where he has similar value to Alex Len and is below Kevon Looney.

PJ Tucker (vs MIL – $3,900 on DK; $4,400 on FD): Tucker is one role player I trust on Houston. The addition of Westbrook might take away some rebounds, but he’ll continue to get open shots and he’ll chip in defensively. He’s at a low salary, making him easy to fit into your lineup and should get you value at the very least.
