EPL DFS Top-Tier Attackers

Tammy Abraham (Chelsea @ Burnley, $23) – Tammy Abraham has the best odds to score out of any player on this slate and it really is not even close.  Normally, I’d be all over a guy with such good odds to score that are much higher than anyone else on the slate, but I have to tame my expectations.

Burnley on the road is becoming a difficult match-up for opposing attackers as they’ve only conceded 3 goals in 4 games at Turf Moor.  However, you can’t deny that Abraham is one of the best plays on the slate.

A fade is viable though if you can get some mid-range attackers instead, Mason Mount ($21) and Callum Hudson-Odoi ($14) specifically.  At first glance, Mount and Abraham also seem expensive, but most players are priced up a few bucks on this small slate so don’t let that deter you from playing them.

Sebastien Haller (Sheffield United @ West Ham, $20) – Haller follows Abraham as the next most likely player to score on the slate.  This isn’t the best match-up either with Sheffield having a tight road defense to far this year with only 3 goals allowed in 4 games.

Haller is firing away a healthy amount of shots, and he’s proven to be an adequate EPL goal scorer with 4 goals so far this season.  While this isn’t an ideal match-up either, you can get a Haller for less money and less ownership than Abraham, and he’s in nearly as good of a spot to score.  Haller also collects peripherals better than Abraham normally, which is worth something on a slate this small.

Callum Wilson (Bournemouth @ Watford, $17) – I’ve been drawn to play Wilson the last 2 weeks and he burned me, but I’m hoping that the third time is the charm.  Watford are still dead last in the league defensively allowing 2.33 goals per game (still as high as 2.0 at home).

Wilson had a span of 5 goals in 4 games recently but combined for 16.2 total points in his next 2 games.

This is a great match-up for him to break out of his mini slump and return to the score-sheet.  He has the best odds on Bournemouth to score, which is something we’ll want to take advantage of in his match-up.  He’ll likely be a popular guy to pair with Abraham/Haller.
