This week’s AEW Power Rankings feature champions on top and a closer look at who is on the rise in the men’s, women’s and tag team divisions.

Last week, we kicked off our first edition of  AEW Power Rankings. With AEW Dark and Dynamite airing weekly, fans are treated to a variety of matches and styles. It also gives us more opportunities to build and change the Power Rankings weekly.

Here is how the wrestlers rank this week.

Men’s Division

No. 1: Chris Jericho (last week: 1)

“Le Champion” didn’t have a match, but made his presence known when the Inner Circle bought tickets and watched Dynamite from a suite. His taunting was enough to start a brawl in the concession area with Cody, Dustin Rhodes, MJF and DDP.

No. 2: Kenny Omega (last week: 8)

Kenny Omega defeated Joey Janela for the second consecutive week. It looks like “The Best Bout Machine” is on a bit of a winning streak after a rough start in AEW.

No.3: PAC (last week: 6)

Although the match ended due to a TV time limit, PAC kicked out of the Paradigm Shift to keep Jon Moxley from winning before the match ended.

No. 4: Jon Moxley (last week: 3)

Moxley faced PAC in a highly-anticipated main event match. Although the match ended in a draw due to a TV time limit, Mox did kick out of the Falcon Arrow (and “no one kicks out of the Falcon Arrow!”). An angry Moxley DDT’d the referee when the match ended in the time-limit draw.

No. 5: Joey Janela (last week: unranked)

Joey Janela finally picked up his first singles win on AEW Dark when he defeated Brandon Cutler. He did lose the following night to Omega for the second week in a row. He also got to help announce a fan’s pregnancy in a uniquely on-brand way.

No. 6: Cody (last week: 5)

Cody didn’t have a match on Dynamite, but came to deliver a promo when he was rudely interrupted by “Le Champion.” Cody led Dustin Rhodes, MJF and DDP to the Inner Circle’s box and proceeded to break a glass window to attack the champion. On Dark, he and his brother teamed up with The Young Bucks to defeat Private Party and The Strong Hearts.

No. 7: Dustin Rhodes (last week: unranked)

The elder Rhodes brother got his first win on Dark alongside his brother and The Young Bucks. He also helped his brother on Dynamite when he joined MJF and DDP to fight the Inner Circle.

No. 8: MJF (last week: 7)

MJF made his presence known when he came to the aid of his best friend, Cody. He helped him, DDP and Dustin to get rid of the Inner Circle.

No. 9: Brandon Cutler (last week: unranked)

Cutler might be 0-2, but he held his own against Janela on Dark. This match lasted longer than his match with MJF and didn’t slip off the rope, so that’s a moral victory.

No. 10: DDP (last week: unranked)

DDP shows up when it counts. He always has Cody’s back and this week was no different.
