DraftKings NBA Picks October 27: KAT of nine tails

It’s a lighter day in the Association today as we have five total NBA games on tap. Only four make up our DraftKings NBA slate. The league pulled a Jenny McCarthy and singled out the Golden State-Oklahoma City game for a DraftKings NBA showdown.

There is an awkward starting time of 6pm eastern on this slate with three of the four games starting then. That means the DraftKings NBA late slate is a showdown tonight between Charlotte and the Lakers.

A new season will mean a little bit of a different format. It will still provide most of what you are used to, but I will go more into why I am thinking about one pick over the other. That way if you don’t agree with my particular analysis, you more easily know what to chase instead.

The injury report is pretty simple tonight, thankfully.

Out: Jimmy Butler(personal), Kyle Kuzma(ankle), Dwight Powell(hamstring), Dion Waiters(suspension), Nicolas Batum(finger), Andre Iguodala(personal), James Johnson(out of shape), Udonis Haslem(wrist), DeMarcus Cousins(knee), Talen Horton-Tucker(foot), Pau Gasol(foot), Jusuf Nurkic(leg), Wilson Chandler(suspension), Kevin Durant(achilles)

Questionable: Rajon Rondo(calf), Derrick Jones(groin), Brandon Clarke(back),

Jones is likely out with the groin. Rondo and Clarke are game time decisions. I so want some shares of Rondo if he starts.

I capped off a good college football day with a very nice NBA night yesterday. Four of my six builds placed above the strong 304.5 cash line. My best one, anchored by Trae Young, Brandon Ingram, and Suns value, finished with 360 points, good for 424th place.

BusterSandobelt took it down with 397.75 points, just 0.25 points ahead of second place. Young, Ingram, and Westbrook all topped 60 for him and he got huge value out of Tristan Thompson, Tucker, and Brogdon.
