FanDuel NBA Breakdown – Value Plays

Kendrick Nunn (4,900) – With Butler, and Waiters both out, that has allowed Nunn to step into a large role, and he has thrived as a result. He has a massive 29.9% usage rate, and 1.32 FPM. Playing just under 30 minutes in both games, but putting up over 30 FanDuel points, shooting the ball at a high field goal percentage. He is making his case that he belongs in this lineup, regardless of the circumstances, and he makes for a great value play at a cheap price.

Dwight Howard (4,800) – The big men in the middle for LA is slowly but surely stealing minutes away from the one dimensional JaVale McGee. He is not scoring the ball, but he is racking up plenty of rebounds, and blocks in a short amount of time. The Hornets are bad against big men, and there is plenty of opportunity for Howard to dominate the boards. I do not suggest paying down at center, but Howard is the best option if you do decide to pay down.

Maxi Kleber (4,800) – A very interesting development for us to monitor is how Maxi had a really nice increase in minutes during the second game, all the way up to 33 minutes. It is hard to say how many minutes he will play in this game, but worst case scenario he should play around 25, which is more than plenty for him to hit value.
