Fantasy football picks: Week 8 MNF Steelers vs. Dolphins

Kallan Ballage – With Drake out of the picture, the Dolphins have resorted to moving Mark Walton into the starting position, and I refuse to pay that much for a guy that is unproven. Of course Ballage has proved that he is not a very good running back by any means, but he does have touchdowns in back-to-back weeks, and is obviously getting some goal line work. He was getting some passing targets, but he really screwed that up and was featured on a video dropping just about every one thrown his way. Still, he offers some touchdown upside, and the occasional passing target, for a cheap price tag, with no Drake, it is worth a play.

Chris Boswell – Our kicker of the slate is Boswell, who will be getting plenty of chances to put up some points. He has been rock solid for Pittsburgh, hitting 100% of his field goals, and extra point attempts. I would expect him to hit at least two field goals, and three, or four extra points in this game.

Mike Gesicki – Mike has a slight lead in the tight-end snap counts at 52%, and has been doing decent with his targets as a result. He has saw a decent increase in targets over the past two games, and posted 41, and 51 yards in them. He has not scored a touchdown this year, but the same goes for most of this roster. Pittsburgh is bad against tight-ends, giving up the fourth most points against them. If somehow, Miami can get into the red-zone, Mike will be a big target for them to use in scoring situations.
