DraftKings NBA Picks October 29: The Butler is in

It is a much lighter night in the Association tonight with just three games for our DraftKings NBA tournaments. That doesn’t mean we’re light on star power though. LeBron and the Lakers are on here. The young studs of Memphis are on here. We have Young and the Hawks and the dynamic Dallas duo. How many can we fit in our lineups?

A new season will mean a little bit of a different format. It will still provide most of what you are used to, but I will go more into why I am thinking about one pick over the other. That way if you don’t agree with my particular analysis, you more easily know what to chase instead.

The injury report is fairly simple tonight, as it should be on a three game slate.

Out: Kyle Kuzma(ankle), Derrick Jones(groin), Allen Crabbe(knee), Chandler Parsons(knees), Andre Iguodala(personal), Bol Bol(foot), DeMarcus Cousins(knee), Talen Horton-Tucker(foot).

Questionable: Ja Morant(ankle), Dwight Powell(hamstring), Dion Waiters(suspension), Rajon Rondo(calf), Kelly Olynyk(quad), Kyle Anderson(calf), James Johnson(conditioning), Udonis Haslem(wrist).

Waiters and Johnson are both listed as out, but it was also noted that their status could change before tipoff. Don’t you just love the NBA? However, since Miami plays in the early game, we’ll know a half hour before tip for sure who we have to work with for the Heat. Powell went through a full practice yesterday, so his status is closer to probable, yet there is no official word.

I was back in minimum cash with a couple of lineups last night. I only cleared the cash line of 282 by five and eight points though, so I didn’t have a really good night. I only had Embiid in one lineup and no exposure to Harden or Bobby Portis. Too much Giannis hurt the bottom line. So did failed value with Derrick Rose and Okafor.

Rollbravesroll was 7.5 points better than everyone else with 365 points for the takedown last night. He built with Kawhi, Brandon Ingram, and Draymond and hit massive value with Kenrich Williams and George Hill.
