Craig Morton Division

16. Gardner Minshew (LW: 18)

Minshew played poorly over the past two games, but he stepped up in a big way against the Jets. The sixth-round rookie notched 279 yards and three touchdowns, getting the Jaguars to 4-4 and keeping them in the playoff race. He’s done a fine job this year.

15. Derek Carr (LW: 17)

Carr played terrific football against the Texans, almost pulling off the upset in Houston. Throwing for three touchdowns and 285 yards, Carr finally threw to targets with some depth and took advantage of a beleaguered secondary. If he can keep doing that, the Raiders are playoff contenders.

14. Jimmy Garoppolo (LW: 13)

Odd for a quarterback to drop in the rankings after his team scored 51 points, but here we are. Garoppolo only threw for 175 yards with two touchdowns and an interception, keeping in line with his middling stat line. The 49ers need him to be better.

13. Jacoby Brissett (LW: 9)

Brissett was largely terrible for the first 58 minutes of the day against Denver. Then, he made the play of the day, escaping Von Miller before throwing on the run to T.Y. Hilton for a game-changing 35-yard gain. He’s a game-manager, but Brissett is doing the job.
