Offensive Tackle. Washington Commanders. Andrew Thomas. 3. player. 58.

The Washington Redskins took to the national stage in Week 8, as they hit the road to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football. During the game, quarterback Case Keenum got to go up against his old team in the Vikings, an organization that he once led to the NFC Championship Game.

Keenum ended up getting hurt during the game, and rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins was pressed into action. Each time we have seen Haskins during the 2019 regular season he has been nothing to write home about, and it will be interesting to see if he is actually the team’s future at quarterback, as they pick very high in the draft next April.

If they do decide Haskins is their guy moving forward, they have to make sure they start putting pieces in front of him to protect him. With Trent Williams likely gone in Washington, the Redskins add the best offensive tackle in the draft class at No. 3 overall, bringing in Andrew Thomas from Georgia, who will start right away on this offensive line.

Atlanta Falcons. Chase Young. 4. player. 44. . Edge

The Atlanta Falcons are an absolute mess right now, and that is pretty surprising considering they were in the Super Bowl only a few years ago. The players who led that team on the defensive side of the ball have really taken a step back, including Vic Beasley Jr., who was once considered one of the better edge rushers in the game.

With the No. 4 overall pick, the Falcons have the opportunity to get arguably the best overall player in this draft class in Chase Young from Ohio State.  Young is the kind of player who can be a generational talent at the next level, and watching him Saturday against Wisconsin, he is a menace that is going to be hard to block in the pros.

The Falcons are going to give real consideration to firing Dan Quinn during the bye week, and while he has been a solid coach for them over the years, it may be time to turn the page. That could lead to a complete gutting of this roster, but regardless of what they do, Young is too good a prospect to pass up at No. 4 overall.
