player. 35. . Quarterback. Tennessee Titans. Jalen Hurts. 17

The Tennessee Titans made the move to Ryan Tannehill a few weeks back, and since then, they have gotten a pretty solid return on their investment. Regardless, it is unlikely that Tannehill will be the long-term play in Tennessee, as head coach Mike Vrabel may decide it is time to roll with a new franchise quarterback.

After playing most of his career at Alabama, Jalen Hurts has really come into his own as a passer for Oklahoma, and has moved up the draft boards considerably. Once considered more of a run-first quarterback, Hurts has shown he can stay in the pocket and deliver the ball, as well as being quite dangerous with his legs.

Overall, this would be a solid move for the Titans, who have a lot of good pieces already in place, and now just need that leader under center. Hurts comes from a championship pedigree, and possesses not only a tremendous football IQ, but that uncanny ability to lead men, as he has done in his two stops at the college level.

. Cornerback. Detroit Lions. Kristian Fulton. 18. player. 50

The Detroit Lions have been one of the more surprising teams in the NFC this season, and in a good way. Matthew Stafford seems more comfortable under center, and the defense is really starting to mesh in their second season under head coach Matt Patricia, who ran the New England Patriots defense for years.

When it comes to the 2020 NFL Draft, the Lions may want to focus their attention on the defensive backfield, as they may want to add another solid cornerback alongside Darius Slay. Slay has been the subject of trade rumors leading up to the trade deadline, but does have another year left on his contract after 2019.

This draft class is loaded with talent at cornerback, including Kristian Fulton from LSU, who is one of the better cover corners available. The Lions seem to be trending in the right direction as a franchise, and a few more pieces added to the defense could make them a serious contender in a very tough NFC North.
