DraftKings EuroLeague Basketball Picks October 30

This is the slightly heavier day of round 5 of the EuroLeague with five games for our DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments. Most of the good matchups were yesterday, but there are still some good plays for today. First, let’s check the injuries.

More from DraftKings

Out: Mike Tobey, F, Valencia; Sam Van Rossom, G, Valencia; Kosta Koufos, F, CSKA; Kevin Pangos, G, Barcelona; Evgeny Voronov, G, St. Petersburg; Felipe Reyes, F, Real Madrid; Josh Huestis, F, Munich; Thomas Bray, G, Munich; Mikhail Kulagin, G, CSKA; Rokas Jokubaitis, G, Zalgiris; Egehan Arna, F, Fenerbahce; Will Clyburn, F, CSKA; Andrey Zubkov, F, St Petersburg; Ergi Tirpanci, G, Fenerbahce.

Questionable: Malcolm Delaney, G, Barcelona; Victor Claver, F, Barcelona; Pau Ribas, G, Barcelona; Mathias Lessort, F, Munich; Alex Perez, G, Zalgiris; Artem Pustovyi, F, Barcelona; Aleksej Pokusevski, G, Olympiacos.

The big news here is the torn ACL that will cost Will Clyburn the rest of the season. We may have to wait a round or two to see how things shake out, but Clyburn was struggling this year anyway. We kind of know what to expect from the rest of the CKSA frontcourt.

Barcelona is still really banged up, and Valencia is starting to join them. Once again, it’s probably best to wait on some Barcelona news before just jumping in here. Delaney, Claver, and Ribas will all play good minutes if cleared.

I was up in the top 20 for a while yesterday before falling back to finish in 47th place. My core of Janis Timma, Micic, and Rokas Giedraitis did well, but the Amine Noua pick held my lineup back.

The rotations can be frustrating sometimes as more players see the court than in your average NBA game. The games themselves are also shorter, playing four ten minute quarters as opposed to 12 minutes in the NBA. The court is smaller, the lane is bigger, and the three point line is closer, but the action is still what you would expect from world class basketball!

For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value.
