DraftKings EuroLeague Forwards:

Nikola Milutinov is averaging the most DraftKings points per round of any player on the slate today. He’s got a solid matchup and strong numbers, but I think I still prefer Nikola Mirotic. He has been more consistent and has a large role for a battered Barcelona team.

The forward with the highest ceiling is still Greg Monroe. He is a force that most EuroLeague squads aren’t used to seeing. That said, Munich still hasn’t played Monroe more than 27 minutes in a game and he has been as low as 18. His floor is lower than the top two.

Brandon Davies had his best game of the season so far when Barcelona put him back in the starting lineup for round 4. It would make sense for them to keep him there, especially with all of the injuries wracking the squad. I still like Mirotic better but using both is not the worst idea I’ve heard.

Omri Casspi is still mostly a scorer, but that’s okay. He is one of the most consistent contributors I the EuroLeague right now. All three games Casspi has played in netted more DraftKings points than any game for Vesely this year. I’d rather go with Casspi’s consistency here.

The return of Gustavo Ayon has put a dent in the production of Will Thomas, yet Thomas is still more expensive. This is a good location to save a bit on Ayon. However, with the injuries to Valencia, I think I prefer Bojan Dubljevic over all of them. Dubljevic has 59.5 DraftKings points over the last two rounds.

Play Joffrey Lauvergne while he’s free. Lauvergne put up 24.5 DraftKings points in just 21 minutes in his first EuroLeague action of the year. Lauvergne’s price is silly low for his production. He’s the free space today.

Mateusz Ponitka is kind of in the same boat here. He’s just $6,500, and he has 60 DraftKings points over the last two rounds. The pricing algorithm hasn’t got to him either. If you use Ponitka and Lauvergne, you can pretty much play whoever else you want. This is the easiest build we’ve had in a while. You just need to find another way to differentiate yourself.

Fernando San Emeterio was the benefactor from Mike Tobey going down last round. San Emeterio finished with 26.25 DraftKings points in 28 minutes. With Tobey out again, San Emeterio could wind up as an outstanding bargain once again.
