DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

Someone needs to explain this to me. Kawhi has 119.25 DraftKings points over his last two games and his price dropped $300. Don’t mind if I do! Look, Utah is a solid team, but Kawhi is the focus of the team and is going to carry the load with PG13 out. He’ll get his rest when George returns. UPDATE: So, I couldn’t be more wrong. Kawhi is resting which means more usage for LouWill and likely a lot of minutes for Landry Shamet and/or Rodney McGruder if he plays. JaMychal Green could see more minutes as well if the Clippers go big.

The chasm at SF is rather large again even on a loaded slate. Ben Simmons is really the only other consideration, and he’s not really worth using with Embiid on the floor. Tobias Harris is cheaper and more reliable.

Honorable Mention:

Jayson Tatum has been the model of inefficiency here, but he’s still the Celtics’ leading scorer. I would stay off of this play if DraftKings weren’t begging us to use him priced at just $6,800. Tatum’s defense and good usage on offense make him a pretty intriguing play. He is just 21-61 from the floor this year. If he makes a few more shots, he’ll destroy value.

Kelly Oubre has scored at least 33 DraftKings points in all four games and he’s still just $6,200. Oubre was outstanding with the Suns last year when they rescued him from bench exile in Washington. Oubre has thanked them, and fantasy owners alike, in nearly every game since. Lock him in and enjoy the production.

How many are going to use Robert Covington in a revenge game against the Sixers? At just $5,700, it’s definitely tempting. Considering Covington posted his first double double of the season on Sunday, the timing couldn’t be better.

Dark Horses:

Many jumped off the Bojan bandwagon after his dud against the Thunder on opening night, but since then, Bojan has turned in 80.25 DraftKings points in two games. In the recurring theme of the early NBA season, Bojan is criminally underpriced. With scores the way they have been so far, you almost need 6x value just to cash. Bojan is clearing 7x over the last two games.

P.J. Tucker has not been under 7x value in any of his first three games, and his price has gone up a total of $900. With Gerald Green out, Tucker is Green and Tucker all rolled into one this year. He’s nailing threes, grabbing boards, and playing great defense. What more could you ask for?

Who would have thought that OG Anunoby would succeed Kawhi for the Raptors, but he’s done just that. Anunoby, a notorious black hole on offense his first two years in the league, has racked up 78.5 DraftKings points over the last two games in 12-22 shooting. All the peripheral numbers are still there, making Anunoby one of the best values on the board.
