Is The Masked Singer new tonight, Oct. 30? Find out if FOX is airing a new The Masked Singer season 2 episode this Wednesday.

Is The Masked Singer new tonight, Oct. 30? The fate of the FOX series depends on what happens in the 2019 World Series.

Update (Oct. 30): The Nationals won on Tuesday night, meaning the World Series will go to seven games andThe Masked Singer is getting bumped.

FOX is currently broadcasting the World Series, which means that all of the network’s usual primetime shows are getting pushed back to make room for baseball. That may include the hit singing competition, depending on the result of Tuesday’s Game 6.

If the Washington Nationals beat the Houston Astros and force Game 7, then The Masked Singer will not be new on Wednesday; instead, TV fans will see baseball and have to wait until next week for the next episode.

That includes on the West Coast; even though the game will likely have ended by the time the show is usually on, FOX is bumping the episode entirely and will just air local programs (or possibly reruns) in the 8 p.m. time slot.

But if the Astros defeat the Nationals, then the series is over and The Masked Singer season 2 will proceed as originally scheduled. Episode 6, called “Mask Us Anything,” is currently planned with six more celebrity performances and one of the singers being unmasked at the end of the show.

So the answer to “Is The Masked Singer new tonight?” depends entirely on the Nationals. If you’re obsessed with The Masked Singer (who isn’t) and absolutely can’t wait to see the next episode, then you’re rooting for the Astros.

Yet no matter what happens, you won’t miss anything—FOX is still going to show Episode 6, just possibly a week later than expected. At least this gives viewers time to refine their fan theories on who the remaining singers are?
