9. Herschel Walker

Did you know that at 53 years-old, Herschel Walker decided to take up MMA? That doesn’t really make him scary as a 20-year-old, but let’s be honest. If you look at 33 the way Herschel looked at 53, it’d be noteworthy. Defenders in Herschel Walker’s way wouldn’t be there very long. It’s always incredible to see guys at once fast and powerful. Like, it makes sense that Usain Bolt is super-duper fast, but an average college running back would run through more tackles than him. Hershel is something else that you just didn’t want to line up against.

The thing is, Herschel Walker seems like an incredibly nice guy too. Which is part of his aura. Off the field, it seems like you wouldn’t really need to worry too much about what he would do. But that’s just what it looks like before the snap. There is nothing scary about a steamroller either. That is unless you’re standing in front of it. In which case, that’s just a nightmare and you can’t get out of the way fast enough.
