7. Reggie Bush

When you consider all that Reggie Bush could do, it’s amazing that the Trojans didn’t win more National Titles. The offense ran through Bush and Bush ran through everyone’s defense. It’s cliché to say that he was like NCAA Football on JV mode, but it’s 100 percent true. There was a line in the game when Bush was on the cover, where Lee Corso says, “I haven’t seen moves like that since prom night.” It was apt and probably written specifically for Reggie Bush. Just look at how he moved. He sliced, he diced. You want scalloped defense? Boom. Tampa two Julienne? Oh, baby, you know Reggie did that.

Watch his highlight reel, and there is no question of how scary Reggie Bush was. It just wasn’t in the way most running backs are. He made you miss and miss badly. He never needed to run anyone over. Just silly. Reggie Bush was the greatest player in college football during his career, and it wasn’t even close. He was so good he got Matt Leinart drafted. The dude runs like a cheetah only more agile. It looks like he was greased up when he was running because nobody could tackle him. Just watch that man run, good lord. Quite honestly, USC didn’t pay him enough.
