4. Baltimore Ravens

At 5-2 right now, with the other three teams in the division reeling to some degree, the Ravens seem to be the favorites to win the AFC North. With the trade deadline passed, there aren’t many  more moves that can be made with bolstering a deep playoff run in mind. And Gordon has practically fallen into their laps now, as someone who could fill a notable need.

Baltimore’s offense is naturally run-oriented, with quarterback Lamar Jackson a dynamic threat with his legs like no quarterback in the league is right now. But that also makes big plays in the passing game possible, and rookie Marquise Brown has struggled to be a consistent downfield threat on the outside.

The Ravens obviously won’t be able to use Gordon against the Patriots Sunday night Week 9. But they should be doing some vetting of his situation already, and ready to make a claim on Gordon even if the chance to actually get him seems slim based on their place in the waiver order.
