Welcome to the Thursday edition of NBA DFS Picks and Pivots, a fantasy basketball column focused on helping you find the best core lineup for this slate of DFS action!

I assume you opened today’s Picks and Pivots and were wondering why on Earth would there be a picture of Jon Lester walking away into the abyss, in an NBA DFS article no less.

Well, for the very last time at FanSided Fantasy sports, I will be bringing you Picks and Pivots before I make like Jon Lester and head off to my next adventure.

After three years of writing Picks and Pivots every single day, from our beginning as Fantasy CPR to the recent change to FanSided Fantasy, I have decided to step away and pursue a new adventure which I am very excited to announce here shortly.

I am so very grateful for the opportunity those at FanSided gave me to lead this ship and give me a platform for which to give you my DFS thoughts on a day in and day out basis. I have also been extremely fortunate to work alongside an incredibly talented group of writers who have pushed this site to places I never could have envisioned it going when we started this three years back.

Lastly, though, I wanted to use the opening page of today’s Picks and Pivots to thank YOU – the readers – for taking this amazing journey with me and making this column a part of your daily DFS routine.

Do not worry, I am not going far and cannot wait to continue writing up stacks against Jon Lester and finding creative ways to emphasize that you should play Tim Hardaway Jr.

So please feel free to follow me on Twitter @2LockSports if you are not already and get ready for an exciting next step. Thank you again for reading each day and let’s crush this slate one last time by building a lineup full of bobblehead narratives and birthdays!

Let’s go!
