Minnesota Vikings at Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5)

This depends on whether Patrick Mahomes is playing. If he is, the Chiefs (5-3) are going to throw all over the Vikings’ (6-2) secondary. If he’s not, this is a tight game with Minnesota having the advantage. No matter who plays quarterback, Kansas City will make Dalvin Cook look like a cross between Walter Payton and Marshall Faulk.

Without Mahomes Pick: Minnesota 27, Kansas City 23
With Mahomes Pick: Kansas City 34, Minnesota 31

New York Jets (-3) at Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins (0-7) are going to win their first game of the year. The Jets (1-6) tried to trade Jamal Adams and Le’Veon Bell this week. Surely, that’s going over well. New York is a mess inside and out. Miami wins behind a vintage Ryan Fitzpatrick performance.

Pick: Miami 20, New York 16

Tennessee Titans at Carolina Panthers (-4)

Kyle Allen and Ryan Tannehill? Who can turn that down? The Panthers (4-3) and Titans (4-4) both desperately need wins, but Carolina is the better team and playing at home. It’s a slight edge, but it’s enough.

Pick: Carolina 24, Tennessee 22

Washington Redskins at Buffalo Bills (-10)

The Bills (5-2) are going to make this closer than it should be because of Josh Allen, but ultimately, it’s the Redskins (1-7). C’mon.

Pick: Buffalo 24, Washington 17
