DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

Giannis had a dud by his standards at Boston on Wednesday, but he may destroy the Magic. Boston didn’t necessarily have the bodies to deal with Giannis either, but they are a sound defensive team anyway. The Magic are on the perimeter, but their interior defense is often lacking. This is going to be even worse if Bamba is out. Giannis is a strong guy to build around. I’d say he’ll be closer to 60 than 50 tonight, which could put up a shade over 5x value.

This isn’t a great matcup for the Brow to begin with. Add in the fact that he may have an ailing shoulder, and I think a lot of people are going to avoid this. The fact is that no one on Dallas can stop Davis. The worst-case scenario for DFS purposes is if Davis plays and ends up leaving because of shoulder pain in the first half. This is November, people. The Lakers have no reason to risk him right now. Knowing Davis, he wants to play, but at what point do you take that out of his hands? If he starts, I’ll use him once or twice, but only in GPP tournaments.

Honorable Mention:

Kevin Love already destroyed the Pacers once, and that was with a healthy Myles Turner. Love picked up 55.75 DraftKings against Indy last week. This has been a great start for Love, and he is proving that he has plenty of basketball life left in post-LeBron Cleveland.

I do like Sabonis with Turner out, but the fact it that neither of them played well against Cleveland last week. Sabonis is way too expensive here. I would much rather use Draymond, and quite honestly, I’m not sure he can carry the Warriors. We’re about to find out.

If Blake Griffin plays, we couldn’t ask for a better return scenario. That said, if Griffin does play I would bet it’s in a limited capacity. The only thing Griffin’s return will really do is ruin Drummond’s value.

I was in no hurry for the DK updating pricing to take effect, but it’s going to keep scores out of the 400’s for a while. Honestly, that gives most of us a better chance. Jayson Tatum’s price hike is just one example. He’ll still hit 5x value, but likely wont go above 6x, even against the Knicks. Still, Tatum has a large role on the offense and a nice floor.

Dark Horses:

Dear Knicks: Please turn Bobby Portis loose. Sincerely, DFS players everywhere.

This is a very interesting spot for Rudy Gay. Like I mentioned yesterday, Gay doesn’t have much for upside anymore. However, when he’s dropping 30’s at these prices, we have to take notice. The wild card here will be who Pop holds out. There’s prop bets in Vegas for this. If it’s Aldridge, I’m running Gay everywhere.

Maxi Kleber‘s poor start against the Wizards scared many of us off, but he has been very good lately. Yes, even with Powell back. Powell is going to reclaim a lot of Kleber’s minutes at some point, but not yet. Kleber is still a really good value at this price.
