Joe Montana Division

4. Drew Brees (LW: 5)

Brees belongs here even though he’s been out most of the season. With the future first-ballot Hall of Famer back at the controls, the Saints are in the driver’s seat for a Super Bowl run (with all due respect, 49ers). Brees remains one o the top trigger men in the game.

3. Aaron Rodgers (LW: 2)

For the first time this season, the Packers were humbled and humiliated. Green Bay was pummeled 26-11 on Sunday by the Los Angeles Chargers, while Rodgers threw for 161 yards on 4.6 yards per attempt. He’s been terrific most of the season, but this was an epic clunker.

2. Deshaun Watson (LW: 3)

On the surface, Sunday’s performance wasn’t notable. Watson passed for 201 yards and two scores. However, he made one outrageous play after the next in a 26-3 drubbing of the Jacksonville Jaguars, showcasing why he belongs in the MVP discussion at the season’s midway point.

1. Russell Wilson (LW: 1)

Five touchdowns and no interceptions in a wild 40-34 overtime win over the Buccaneers. Yeah, Wilson is playing the best football of his life, now sitting on 22 touchdowns and one interception. The Super Bowl champion also has 8.5 YPA with a 68 percent completion rate. He’s been absolutely spectacular.
