2020 NFL mock draft: Raiders get Ceedee Lamb with Bears pick

With Week 9 of the 2019 NFL season in the books, the Cincinnati Bengals are still looking for their first win, and are the only winless team.

The 2019 NFL season is passed the halfway mark, and for the Cincinnati Bengals, they are still looking for their first win of the season. Of course, the biggest laugher of the Week 9 slate had to be down in Miami, where the winless Dolphins beat their former head coach Adam Gase and the New York Jets for their first win of the season.

Here is our latest 2020 NFL mock draft, with the draft order thanks to tankathon.com after the Monday Night Football matchup between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys.

The Cincinnati Bengals have made the switch to Ryan Lindsay at quarterback, doing so in laughable fashion after the trade deadline. Had they made the move earlier, they likely could have moved starting quarterback Andy Dalton for some draft capital at least, sending him to a team like the Chicago Bears.

Still, we will get to see what Lindsay has the rest of the way, as the rookie will be pressed into duty over the team’s final eight games. While Lindsay was a solid college quarterback, he is not near the player LSU’s Joe Burrow is, and even though he is getting the nod now, the Bengals cannot pass on Burrow at No. 1.

Burrow has the makeup to be a legitimate franchise quarterback at the NFL level, and Zac Taylor is going to want to bring in his guy at the top of the draft. Taylor is a gifted coach, and should be able to turn this thing around, but it all starts under center, and Burrow is a great building block for this franchise.

The Washington Redskins were blasted by the Buffalo Bills this past weekend, as they continue to  trend downward. The game marked the first NFL start for Dwayne Haskins, their first round pick this past April, and the results were about the same with their young franchise quarterback under center.

All signs point to Haskins being the guy moving forward, but it will be interesting to see the Redskins pass on some of the elite quarterbacking talent in this draft class. If they do, they will then turn their attention to the best overall player in this class, and that is Chase Young, a stud edge rusher from Ohio State.

The Redskins get absolutely no pass rush, so bringing in a guy like Young would be an incredible upgrade for them on the edges. Washington has a long way to go until they are competitive again in the NFC East, so stacking the best talent available is what makes the most sense next April via the NFL Draft.
