In what was one of the more surprising games of the Week 9 NFL slate, the Green Bay Packers went into Los Angeles and laid an absolute egg against the Chargers. The Packers offense could get nothing going, as they only were able to muster a garbage-time touchdown against a Chargers defense that has been very beatable this season.
Still, sitting at 7-2 this season, the Packers are once again one of the better teams in the NFC, and Aaron Rodgers could be headed towards his second Super Bowl title. However, they have to do something to get this guy more weapons in the passing game moving forward, and Tee Higgins from Clemson would be a solid selection at No. 27 overall.
Higgins comes from a championship program, and outside of Davante Adams, the Packers are really lacking in talent at the wide receiver position. Sure, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison can have their moments, but Higgins would be a legitimate No. 2 behind Adams, giving Rodgers two elite weapons on the outside.
The Seattle Seahawks needed overtime to come away with the victory this past Sunday, but they got the job done against a feisty Tampa Bay Buccaneers team in front of the home fans. The Seahawks are enjoying another incredible season from quarterback Russell Wilson, who could end up being the league’s Most Valuable Player when all is said and done.
Despite the fact that Wilson has been magnificent this season, there is still a lot of work to be done along this Seahawks offensive line. One player they could look to target this late in round one is Tyler Biadasz from Wisconsin, who has the ability to play both guard, and center at the NFL level for the Seahawks.
Wilson has been great at making plays happen with his legs in the NFL, as he is usually running from his life from time to time. However, he is starting to get up there in age, and eventually that part of his game will go away, making it so important that this Seahawks franchise start getting him assets up front along the offensive line.
