NFL DFS bargain bin: Week 10 Quarterbacks
Sam Darnold, NYJ vs. NYG (DraftKings-$5,800/FanDuel-$7,200/FantasyDraft-$10,300/Yahoo-$24)
Darnold is hardly going to the darling of anyone this week after three straight rough games, which makes him an intriguing tournament play in a strong matchup. The Giants have allowed an average of 22.2 DK/20.4 FD points per game to quarterbacks. Big Blue has also allowed a 16:8 TD: INT to signal-callers and have ranked in the bottom 10 in air yards (2,660) and catch rate (69.0 percent) surrendered. Darnold does have a full array of healthy weapons to work with, and he could even have athletic tight end Chris Herndon (hamstring) on the field for the first time this week.
Brian Hoyer, IND vs. MIA
(DraftKings-$5,900/FanDuel-$7,100/FantasyDraft-$11,000/Yahoo-$25)
Hoyer’s upside may not be the greatest, but he’s undeniably a capable veteran who has plenty of starting experience and is drawing one of the best matchups in the league. The Dolphins are playing more competitively in recent weeks, but Xavien Howard (knee) is now on injured reserve, while Reshad Jones (chest) will be out once again Sunday. Miami has allowed a 19:3 TD: INT to quarterbacks this season, along with 22.9 DK/FantasyDraft and 22.1 FD/Yahoo points per game to the position. Hoyer won’t have T.Y. Hilton (calf) at his disposal, but he’ll still have plenty of weapons to attack with versus a Miami team that’s also yielding the second-highest aDOT (9.5).
