Hot pot of Coffey!

It was kind of a busy night for Joe Coffey, who started off the episode getting back into the fighting groove against Tyson T-Bone. Makes sense really. His “kingdom” is in possession of tag team gold, but he didn’t actually do anything to make that happen. If Joe Coffey is going to keep insisting that NXT UK is Gallus’ kingdom, he better start making some contributions towards that.

Thankfully, Joe Coffey is Joe Coffey and Tyson T-Bone is Tyson T-Bone. We know early on how this one is going to work out. T-Bone really is at the top of the NXT UK jobber hierarchy though, in that his tough look and brawling style make him a credible threat compared to say, Jack Starz or Ashton Smith. He gets some good offense in too, including head butting Coffey in the face and punching Coffey so hard something flies out of his mouth.

Inevitably, Coffey is able to get out of a move and then only has to hit a couple of high-impact moves to take home a win for his kingdom. A solid win on a night that, as we already know, continued to build up Gallus as a top faction in NXT UK.
