To give fans an idea of what’s to come, the episode title “Edge of Tomorty: Rick, Die, Rickpeat,” is an apparent reference to the Tom Cruise sci-fi film Edge of Tomorrow, which is based on the popular manga All You Need is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurzaka.
