After arguably the best weekend of college football of the year, this next slate is jam-packed with fantastic matchups all across the board. The Big Ten, SEC and ACC all have vital ranked games that decide the future fate of top-tier teams.
After a stunning upset by P.J. Fleck and Minnesota, the young Golden Gophers will test their undefeated season against a ground and pound Iowa Hawkeyes team. With Tanner Morgan playing phenomenal football to lead the offense, Minnesota is playing with confidence as they travel to Kinnick Stadium.
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons have been a surprising team this season led by junior quarterback Jamie Newman. With the Deacons losing on the road to Virginia Tech, Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne will have their hands full with an angry Wake Forest team looking to play spoiler for a potential playoff team.
Joe Burrow has been outstanding this season and is the overwhelming favorite for the Heisman trophy. Look for a potential trap game against Ole Miss as the Tigers are riding high after finally defeating the Alabama Crimson Tide. Ed Orgeron will have to keep his team focused if they hope to remain perfect.
Will the Matt Rhule season of destiny prevail or will Jalen Hurts and Oklahoma end the dream for the Golden Bears? Baylor has fought through some difficult games this season, but its greatest challenge will be this weekend against the Sooners.
