DraftKings college football wide receiver picks November 14

Top Tier:

They throw in the ACC a lot more than they do in the MAC. Both Pitt and UNC have a pair of really good receivers. I prefer Pitt’s duo of Maurice Ffrench and Taysir Mack, but inefficient quarterback play has really limited their ceiling. That said, DraftKings college football is PPR, and Ffrench hauled in 11 passes against Georgia Tech and has no fewer than six receptions in a game this year. Ffrench is the safest WR option tonight.

However, the highest priced receiver is Dyami Brown, fresh off of his 202 receiving yards against a stout Virginia defense. As I mentioned before, Pitt’s major strength is run defense. Brown could find himself with some room to run on this secondary as well.

Middle Tier:

Dazz Newsome and Mack are the “second fiddles,” but that isn’t always a bad thing. In fact, Newsome actually has more receptions than Brown, and was the leading receiver until Brown’s eruption against the Hoos. For that reason, I see Newsome as the UNC receiver to target in cash games. Mack also puts up strong numbers, but the shortcomings of his quarterback often hurt since Ffrench runs the shorter routes most of the time.

Isaiah McKoy is out, so that leaves Kavious Price and Mike Carrigan to pick up the slack. Carrigan has hit on more big plays this year with Price being the more targeted receiver. I expect a nice uptick for Price here, especially in a game where Kent will have to throw to be competitive.

As you may have guessed from the lofty totals of the Buffalo backs, this is not a team that passes a lot. That said, Antonio Nunn has 19 of his 33 receptions since Vantrease took over as the starting quarterback four games ago. Nunn is the only Buffalo receiver that I would consider.

Bargain Shoppers:

If you want a real longshot at receiver, I present Antoine Green. Green has five receptions on the season, but he amassed 194 yards and two touchdowns with those catches. Green is a great deep threat for the Tarheels, but he has gone entire games without a reception, such as week 9 against Duke.

In the same vein, Keenan Orr has three receptions all season for Kent. Two of them have gone for touchdowns. However, with McKoy out, Orr could see a little more field time that normal here, but he’s still a huge risk.
