DraftKings EuroLeague Guards:

The CSKA backcourt duo of Mike James and Darrun Hilliard have a tough matchup with Fenerbahce, but it gets a little easier with Nando out. On top of that, Will Clyburn is gone up front, so the CSKA backcourt has to take on a heavier load. This has not worked in their favor so far. I honestly don’t see much of a reason to pay for either of them.

Jordan Loyd broke the slate last week with 51.75 DraftKings points against Athens. With Van Rossom still out, the usage and chances are going to be there for Loyd again. I don’t see a lot of must play guys in the EuroLeague, but Loyd today is one of them. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him be the highest scorer on the slate again.

With Dedovic uncertain, I’m even higher on Maodo Lo than usual. Lo has been a constant source of value so far this year. That has diminished some with his price in this range, but I could see Lo having a big game here. The matchup is right and the usage could go way up.

I just told you about Loyd against Athens last week. Thomas Walkup is in the same position this week. He doesn’t have an injury to up his usage, but this could be a game where Walkup produces his best line of the season. For the price, it’s worth it to see if he can.

Lorenzo Brown has been on a tear over the last three rounds. I don’t see how his price is still this low. I like this more if Antoine Diot ends up sitting out, but I see little reason to fade Brown here either. This middle tier of guard is loaded today. If Diot is in, he has the best matchup possible. Belgrade has allowed more fantasy points to guards than any other team in the EuroLeague.

Brandon Paul has taken virtually all of the production away from Spanoulis. Paul is the lesser known of the Olympiacos guards, but it wont remain that way for long. Paul has a nice matchup and a nice price here.

Jordan Taylor had his best game of the season last week, and the price reflects it. I’m not saying that Taylor is a bad play here, but I an leaning towards Billy Baron. Baron has been more consistent overall, and his numbers over the last two rounds are very close to what Taylor did in a one off instance last week.

Quino Colom has been a nice fill in for Van Rossom so far. The upside isn’t there with what Loyd is doing, but Colom is a strong play if you need to go cheap. The minutes are there. The same is true for Guillem Vives. In fact, Vivies has outdone Colom over the last two rounds.
