Duds

Devin Booker (vs ATL – $8,100 on DK; $9,200 on FD): Booker obviously has big game potential but he’s also been inconsistent as he actually has some help this year. As you previously read, I like Rubio more than Booker and there’s other value below Booker. He’ll be good, but you need more.

Jrue Holiday (vs LAC – $8,200 on DK; $8,500 on FD): The Clippers are on a back to back, which should help the Pelicans and Holiday. But the Pelicans just aren’t very good. And while Holiday does all he can, his price is a little too high for my taste, especially against this matchup. If Ingram plays, that helps Holiday as it takes pressure off of him.

Dwight Powell (at NY – $5,100 on DK; $5,600 on FD): The Knicks are always easy to bet against but as I previously stated, this feels like a Luka and Kristaps game. And Powell’s salary is too high for the inconsistent game he brings to the table. There’s better value below him.

Jamal Murray (vs BKN – $6,800 on DK; $7,500 on FD): The matchup is good for Murray as the Nets don’t offer much defense. But Murray is far too inconsistent and there is better value on the Nuggets below him. Will Barton and Paul Millsap both have ceilings as high as Murray and they are cheaper options.

Lauri Markkanen (at MIL – $6,000 on DK; $6,700 on FD): I love Markkanen but it hasn’t been there for him for much of this season. And it’s tough to see him getting on track against the Bucks, even if they are banged up. His salary has dropped, but until he shows some consistency, look for value elsewhere and at a lower price.
