WWE Friday Night SmackDown preview, Nov. 15: Watch online
Here’s all the information you need for the Nov. 15, 2019 edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
As we get closer to WWE Survivor Series, a full night of action is scheduled for this week’s Friday Night SmackDown. With the men and women both looking for final spots for their respective Survivor Series teams, here is what you can expect on Friday night.
Last week, we saw Kofi Kingston and Big E lockdown championship reign number seven when they defeated The Revival for the SmackDown tag team titles. After a week with the gold, the New Day will defend their newly-won hardware against the former champions. Can they hold onto the titles, or will The Revival upend the celebration?
With Survivor Series just over a week away, we know that NXT will send a five-man squad to face off against both Raw and SmackDown in the first-ever triple threat elimination match. For the blue brand, Ali and Shorty G are currently slated to join team captain King Corbin for the event. But after Corbin called their qualifications into question recently, the duo must now prove they deserve the spot.
So they will face Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler in tag team action. The stipulation is simple — if Ali and Shorty G win, they will retain their spot on the Survivor Series team. But if Roode and Ziggler pull off the victory, they will take their respective spots.
Speaking of next Sunday’s event, the ladies are getting their chance to steal the show. Sasha Banks will captain a team currently consisting of Lacey Evans, Carmella, and Dana Brooke. Leaving one spot potentially open for Nikki Cross to take. But in order to do so, Cross will have to take down SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley to claim the final slot. It won’t be easy, given Bayley’s newfound attitude. Can Cross shake things up and find her way onto the Survivor Series team?
Things always get interesting when The Miz and Daniel Bryan are within reach of each other. But this week will be a bit of a different story. The Miz will have Bryan as a special guest on MizTV, to discuss the attack from Universal Champ “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt last week. In addition, he has a decision to make regarding the offer from Sami Zayn to join forces with Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. What will Bryan have to say?
