As we gear up for the stretch run, these five teams find themselves most in need of a win in Week 11 to set themselves up for a potential postseason run.

The calendar is beginning to creep away from NFL teams, with everyone having played at least nine games to date. There are fewer and fewer opportunities to secure victories that will make or break postseason hopes, so losses are even more damaging.

Four of the five squads on this week’s must-win list are coming off of defeats, so getting back into the win column is a matter of massive importance if they hope to keep their playoff dreams afloat. Let’s start with one of the AFC’s Wild Card contenders, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars

“MinshewMania” came to an end in London back in Week 9, when Gardner Minshew wasn’t effective in a brutal loss to the Houston Texans. After the game, Jaguars’ head coach Doug Marrone decided to go back to the returning Nick Foles after the bye week.

Foles was signed to a big contract to lift the Jaguars’ strong defense and running game into the postseason, but a broken collarbone in Week 1 altered those plans. While Minshew deserves credit for keeping the Jaguars afloat, the team’s upside right now is probably higher with Foles under center.

Week 11 brings a matchup with the reeling Indianapolis Colts, who have dropped two in a row without starter Jacoby Brissett, including a defeat at home to the previously tanking Miami Dolphins. The loser of this game could find themselves out of it before Thanksgiving, so the Jaguars need to ensure that they aren’t heading home with another defeat on their resume.
