This week’s AEW Power Rankings feature champions on top and a closer look at who is on the rise in the men’s, women’s and tag team divisions.

AEW had their first pay-per-view since All Out at the end of August. Full Gear took place on November 9. This week’s rankings are effected by Full Gear along with Dark and Dynamite.

Here’s how AEW’s competitors rank this week.

Men’s Division

No. 1 — Chris Jericho (last week: 1)

“Le Champion” successfully retained his AEW World Championship at Full Gear (even though there were questionable circumstances). He also tagged with Inner Circle member Sammy Guevara for the Tag Team titles against SCU on Dynamite; he suffered his first loss.

No. 2 — Jon Moxley (last week: unranked)

Moxley finally got to go one-on-one with Kenny Omega in an Unsanctioned Lights Out match. “The Purveyor of Violence” lived up to his moniker in a violent match with Omega. There were some incredible moments and it’ll be talked about for a long time. Moxley was successful, although this match didn’t count against their win/loss record. On Dynamite, he defeated Michael Nakazawa in minutes.

No. 3 — Kenny Omega (last week: 5)

Omega may have lost his match, but he had the best match of his AEW career at Full Gear. “The Best Bout Machine” proved that he is indeed just that. He brought shards of the glass coffee table into play, a table of mouse traps, a barbed wire mop, and a table covered in barbed wire. Omega has not been cleared by doctors for TV.

No. 4 — Adam “Hangman” Page (last week: 9)

“Hangman” brought his “cowboy s**t” to PAC and was finally successful. He beat PAC cleanly after losing their first two meetings in the UK and at All Out. Page was the only Elite member to win a match at Full Gear. Page faced PAC in a rematch on Dynamite and lost.

No.5 — Cody (last week: 2)

“The American Nightmare” said prior to his match that if he lost, he wouldn’t challenge for the AEW World Championship again. Cody was locked in the Walls of Jericho when his “best friend” MJF threw in the towel on his behalf. This move immediately ended the match allowing Jericho to retain. MJF then turned on Cody. On top of all of that, he needed eight stitches and has a bruised rib. He’ll likely be out of action 3-4 weeks, though he did show up at Dynamite to get a bit of revenge on the Champ and MJF.

No. 6 — MJF (last week: unranked)

MJF inserted himself into Cody’s title match by throwing in the towel for him thus costing him the match. He quickly turned on his “best friend.” MJF teased joining the Inner Circle with Jericho, when he was attacked by Cody. Wardlow attacked Cody from behind with a Burberry scarf, seemingly in cahoots with MJF.

No. 7 — PAC (last week:3)

PAC faced his nemesis “Hangman” Adam Page at Full Gear and suffered his first singles lost. “The Bastard” quickly made up for this by beating Page on Dynamite with the Brutalizer.

No.8 — Shawn Spears (last week: 4)

AEW’s “Chairman” faced off against Joey Janela who has been taunting him and his associate, Tully Blanchard. Spears won by nefarious means (i.e. Blanchard interfering). During his match on Dynamite, he was attacked by Joey Janela, which may have cost him the match.

No. 9 — Darby Allin (last week: unranked)

Allin won his three way match with Spears and Peter Avalon by landing a coffin drop on Avalon. He then accepted Moxley’s challenge.

No. 10 — Wardlow (last week: unranked)

After making a statement in the opening of All Out, AEW fans have been wondering when we would see Wardlow again. He made his dramatic Dynamite  debut by attacking Cody from behind and seemingly aligning himself with MJF.
