DraftKings college football wide receiver picks November 15

Top Tier:

Kobe Smith is pretty much the only receiver than San Diego State throws to. The ineffectiveness of his quarterback limits the upside, but Smith has at least five receptions in all but one game since week 3. He’s the guy for the Aztecs, and as such, is worth paying for.

I though that Adrian Hardy had the best upside of any receiver on the slate. How do we replace that? It has to be with Griffin Hebert. Hebert leads the Bulldogs in touchdown receptions, but he has not caught more than three passes in a game since week 4. That’s going to change here with Hardy out of the picture, but the uncertainty at quarterback makes me nervous.

Middle Tier:

Jaylen Cropper only has 14 receptions on the entire season, but he seems to have eclipsed Emoryie Edwards as the top Fresno wideout. The Bulldogs may have to throw more than they are used to considering the Aztecs have possibly the best run defense in the country. Cropper and Edwards are decent prospects here.

Armani Levias is much more than decent. Levias has 17 receptions for 173 yards and a touchdown over the last two games alone. Green is healthy, and this Marshall offense is starting to take off. Levias has proven to be a large part of that with consistent QB play helping him out.

Bargain Shoppers:

Smoke Harris is the guy that should benefit the most from the suspension of Hardy. I don’t expect Louisiana Tech to completely take to the ground here. They will probably pass less than they have all year, but I still see Harris getting enough looks to make for an interesting GPP option.

Freshman Broc Thompson has nice upside for Marshall, but he has yet to be a consistent threat in the passing game. Still, 15 of his 17 receptions have come in the last five games, but he was also shut out in one of those games. Thompson is a big risk, but he may be one worth taking.

Zane Pope has exploded on the scene with 11 receptions for 119 yards and a touchdown over the last two games. The best part? He’s just $4,400! Enjoy the bargain!
