What players should you look to as injury replacements for your fantasy football team with the final reports and players’ injury designations coming out?

Week 11 is underway and it started with the Browns defeating the Steelers and a brawl at the end of the game. The rest of the league is preparing for Sunday and Monday and have released their final injury reports. For the fantasy football owners who were hoping their players would be ready for this game but are not, don’t panic. I have a few players listed that you can easily add as a last-minute fill-in.

There were a few star players already determined out for week 11 and a bunch of others that are listed as questionable. Matthew Stafford (out), Le’Veon Bell (questionable), Josh Jacobs (questionable), David Montgomery (questionable), Tyler Lockett (questionable), Adam Thielen (out), Alshon Jeffery (out), George Kittle (doubtful), Austin Hooper (out) as well as many others that could have an impact on fantasy football.

Most of those players are owned in over 70 percent of ESPN leagues. Those players not being available to owners will have an impact on this week’s results, which could impact your league’s standings and playoff seeding. If you’re in the hunt, make sure you make the necessary moves.

I will list one quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers and one tight end. They will have favorable matchups and ownership percentages under 50 percent in ESPN leagues.

More from Fantasy Football

Kyle Allen, vs. ATL

Allen has put up two respectable games over the last two weeks, totaling 28.4 fantasy points. He faced the Titans and Packers in those two games, both of which have formidable defenses. This week, he gets to loosen up against the Falcons.

Atlanta’s defense has allowed an average of 22.7 points to opposing quarterbacks. Their best game came in week 1 against Minnesota but they held Drew Brees to zero passing touchdowns last week.

Allen has a great set of weapons around him in Christian McCaffrey, Greg Olsen, Curtis Samuel and DJ Moore. The Falcons secondary has been a weakness for this team for years. Allen is a solid QB2 this week.

Kalen Ballage, vs. BUF

I mentioned Ballage last week as a must-add but he did not perform well in week 10. He had 2.2 yards per carry against the Colts. This week, he goes up against the Bills 20th-ranked rush defense.

The Dolphins offense has looked better with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center. DeVante Parker and Mike Gesicki have been popular targets. Coach Brian Flores is confident it’s a matter of time before Ballage is able to get consistent production, according to Alain Poupart of Miamidolphins.com.

The fact that they’re sticking with him is a good sign for this week and beyond.

J.D. McKissic, vs. DAL

McKissic may be the Lions lead back again this week as Ty Johnson is listed as questionable with a concussion. The Lions will also be without their starting quarterback, so the offense may lean on McKissic more than usual.

The Cowboys defense allow 25.7 points to opposing running backs. We saw the combination of Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison run against this defense last week. McKissic is a good sleeper pick.

Auden Tate, @OAK

Despite throwing it 30 times, rookie quarterback Ryan Finley put up just 8.9 fantasy points. That may not be a good projection for the Bengals offense this week but going up against Oakland may help.

However, with AJ Green already ruled out and John Ross still on the IR, it’s Tyler Boyd and Tate as the top-two receiving options. The Raiders secondary have been picked on all season and Bengals will continue the streak.

Deebo Samuel, vs. ARI

The 49ers offense is banged up heading into this game. I already mentioned Kittle but Emmanuel Sanders is questionable with a rib injury and Dante Pettis is questionable with a groin injury. With those three options possibly unavailable, Samuel is prime to be targeted often.

And he could put up big numbers against the Cardinals. While Patrick Peterson is back, they have allowed 39.07 fantasy points per game over the last four weeks. It’s been an up-and-down season for Samuel, but this could be the big week.

Dawson Knox, @MIA

Knox is my deep sleeper pick for the week. He is the 30th ranked tight end based on ESPN PPR scoring. He scored his sole touchdown back in week 3 against the Bengals. Against Cleveland last week, he recorded four catches for 55 yards.

The Dolphins are 20th against tight ends. They allowed 37.5 points in week 1 and then stopped all tight ends for the next six weeks. Over the last two, however, they’ve allowed 11 and 24. The Dolphins defense will have a hard time against these Bills skill players. Don’t be surprised to see Knox in the end zone this week.
