Scrubs

Dillon Brooks (vs DEN – $5,100 on DK; $5,000 on FD): It’s a tough matchup for the Grizzlies but Brooks has been playing well and is at a good salary given his recent production and overall opportunities. This might be a defensive slugfest but Brooks is a role player who can get buckets and chip in elsewhere.

Eric Paschall (at NO – $5,000 on DK; $5,000 on FD): Paschall may have gone cold since his hot stretch but with Russell out of the lineup, someone has to pick up the scoring for the Warriors. He’s dropped to a good salary and he’s up against the Pelicans defense. Expect him to re-emerge in this game with a big scoring output.

Gary Harris (at MEM – $5,000 on DK; $5,400 on FD): If Will Barton doesn’t end up playing, Gary Harris will see even more opportunities. He’s come on strong in the last couple of outings, can do a bit of everything and Memphis is weak against the position. If Barton plays, Harris won’t hurt you. If Barton doesn’t play, Harris has big value potential.

Terrence Ross (vs WAS – $4,700 on DK; $4,500 on FD): There is some good value with Orlando’s role players. I’m really torn between Augustin, Fultz, and Ross as all are around the same price. I ultimately like Ross the best because he has the highest ceiling with his scoring potential against this matchup. One of them will have a big game.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (vs ATL – $3,700 on DK; $3,700 on FD): KCP will likely draw the start once again with Bradley out of the lineup. And that means more minutes and opportunities. One thing about KCP is you know he’s going to get his shots up. Given the circumstances, salary, and matchup, he’s worth taking the risk on. Famous last words.
