Duds

Nikola Jokic (at MEM – $8,700 on DK; $9,400 on FD): Jokic still isn’t consistent enough for my liking. He’ll get his numbers and his salary has dropped to a more reasonable level but you’d still like to see more out of him. There’s stronger value below him and value that is more reliable, even if they have a lower ceiling.

Nikola Vucevic (vs WAS – $8,200 on DK; $8,800 on FD): Vucevic will likely have a good outing given the matchup but I find there to be better value below him. His inconsistency still worries me though his ceiling is high enough that I can understand why you’d take him. I just believe there are players who provide some better value.

Jabari Parker (at LAL – $7,200 on DK; $7,600 on FD): The Lakers are tops against the position and it’s a back to back for the Hawks. Parker has been great but those are two factors that I cant exactly ignore at this salary. Parker keeps proving me wrong but I have to be right at some point, right?

Draymond Green (at NO – $6,200 on DK; $7,000 on FD): Green is down one mode scorer with Russell out of the lineup and that’s one less player to pick up assists with. The rebounding might be there but the scoring is unlikely to happen. The salary remains too high given his limited ceiling on this team. Even against the Pelicans.

Aaron Gordon (vs WAS – $6,600 on DK; $ on FD): Much like Vucevic, Gordon will probably have a good game, and his salary isn’t that bad. Really, I don’t mind Gordon given the matchup and salary. That’s really the theme on Sunday. There’s nothing wrong with Gordon, though I do feel like Bryant will offer more value.
