The Fiend, Bray Wyatt – Wyatt continues to make his presence known through The Firefly Funhouse and this week was no exception. After turning the Universal Title from red to blue, he later appeared on Miz TV to heckle Daniel Bryan and eventually accepted his challenge for a title match. As champion, he stays at the top of the list.
Shorty G – Shorty G teamed up with Ali to take on Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler with King Corbin on the outside of the ring. Roman Reigns would come out to even the odds, though, and Gable and Ali came away with the victory, moving them both up the rankings.
Ali – After teaming with Shorty G to defeat Roode and Ziggler, he moves up the rankings with the win.
Braun Strowman – Strowman entered the arena after being taunted by Drew Gulak and B Team, and quickly dispatched of all three men. He would likely move up even more if he actually had a match, but his ability to destroy anyone in front of him is enough to move him up this week.
Shinsuke Nakamura – He didn’t appear in the ring this week, but he showed his face with Sami Zayn when Zayn confronted Daniel Bryan. Nakamura showed no fear in the face of The Monster Among Men backstage, and as the Intercontinental Champion, he remains in the middle of the rankings. To move up, he should defend his title and win.
Roman Reigns – Reigns didn’t get in the ring, per se, but he did even the odds during the tag team match between Shorty G, Ali, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. With Corbin distracting the stars outside the ring, Reigns made it clear that he wasn’t having any of it.
Daniel Bryan – After challenging Bray Wyatt to a title match, Bryan moves up based on gumption alone. The Fiend is a formidable foe, but Bryan isn’t letting him in his head and he’s not backing down.
King Corbin – First he calls out Reigns early in the show, and then Reigns shows up in the middle of a match to put Corbin in his place. He falls due to Reigns’ involvement, not competing in a match and his guys failing to defeat Shorty G and Ali.
Cesaro – The Swiss Cyborg wasn’t seen on Smackdown this week, but he’s never far from Shinsuke Nakamura and Sami Zayn. He will be back, but he falls in the meantime.
The Miz – Another fantastic episode of Miz TV is in the books with Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan going at it. The Miz didn’t have much to do with it, but he was out there moderating, so he gets the nod to make the rankings this week.
