4. Aaron Rodgers (LW: 4)

This week has long been circled on Rodgers’ calendar. The Packers go to Santa Clara — not far from where Rodgers grew up — to take on the 49ers in front of a national audience. Facing one of the league’s best defenses, Rodgers can make quite the statement.

3. Lamar Jackson (LW: 5)

Jackson continues to dazzle. On Sunday, he put himself in front as the MVP favorite with a 41-7 beating of the Texans. For his part, Jackson launched four touchdowns and ran for 86 yards in electrifying fashion. He’s been nothing short of brilliant all year long.

2. Russell Wilson (LW: 2)

The bye week was surely good for Wilson, who now readies for the Eagles in Philadelphia. This season, the former Wisconsin great has thrown 23 touchdowns against two interceptions. It’s been his best individual performance.

1. Patrick Mahomes (LW: 1)

Mahomes wasn’t his typically great self on Monday night. He threw a bad interception. He didn’t eclipse 200 yards for the first time all year when finishing a game. Still, he made the winning plays, including a nice touchdown throw to Travis Kelce while running for a few critical first downs. He remains the NFL’s best, even on a ho-hum night.
