NBA DraftKings – top valued shooting guards

Delon Wright versus Golden State Warriors ($4,000)

It’s easy to target players against the Golden State Warriors even if they are on the bench. Delon Wright has scored above 20 fantasy points in three of his last five games. He is averaging 24 minutes per game with eight points, three rebounds and three assists per game but has a very low usage rate of 13%. Wright is also averaging .83 fantasy points per minute and 20.6 fantasy points per game.

I’m sounding like a broken record, but the Golden State Warriors are just bad and Wright gets the perfect opportunity. The Warriors are currently allowing opposing shooting guards to average 26 points, six assists and six rebounds per game plus giving up 46.89 fantasy points. With blowout potential, Delon Wright should see an increase in opportunities to exceed his value.

Ryan Arcidiacono versus Detroit Pistons ($3,700)

This is an extreme risk of a value play, but it could just give you that upper hand in your GPP contests. He’s averaging just five points, two assists and two rebounds per game while averaging just 17 minutes. Arcidiacono is coming off of a huge performance versus the Milwaukee Bucks with 21.8 fantasy points. He is also averaging 11.7 fantasy points, which is just .71 fantasy points per minute.

Besides the extreme risk of playing Ryan Arcidiacono, the Detroit Pistons are actually a difficult matchup on paper. They only give up 39,43 fantasy points to opposing shooting guards. They allow a real stat line of 19 points, six rebounds and five rebounds per game. I would only use Arcidiacono if you are in desperate need of building around a star studded lineup or are completely hoping to get a sneaky play in on your contest.
