Why DeVante Parker and Ryan Fitzpatrick will win your fantasy league

The Miami Dolphins stink, but quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and wide receiver DeVante Parker will win you your fantasy league this season.

The Miami Dolphins have made many South Floridians cry about their football team this fall. Fortunately, they are done with tanking and are actually about winning games sometimes this season. But what if the Dolphins can win you more? Could the Dolphins of all teams be the key to you winning your fantasy football league this year?

The Fantasy Footballers have been keen on Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker for some time now as a solid free-agent add to help bolster your weekly lineup. But as Mike Wright said, we have to take this up a notch. It’s time to get a little Fitzmagical and hope aboard the Ryan Fitzpatrick train.

Wright mentioned that while it might be crazy to start Fitzpatrick, he did remind us that Blake Bortles did win people fantasy leagues a few years ago, as he is Sir Blake Bortles, the Dark Knight of Garbage Time, the hero nobody deserved but the one the Jacksonville Jaguars got for five seasons.

But while Bortles is stuck riding pine on behind Jared Goff in Los Angeles, Fitzpatrick is 100 percent capable of getting you 300 passing yards and a couple of touchdowns, mostly in garbage time to help you win your fantasy football league. If he was good enough for FX’s The League, he’s good enough to lead you to championships.

Could you even imagine beating some boastful dude in your fantasy league who thinks he knows everything there is about fantasy, you know, the guy who drives a car twice his annual salary and is in debt up to his eyeballs, but whatever, he’s cool like that. Do what is necessary and start Fitzpatrick and beat his team’s ass senselessly. You and your entire league deserve that.

If the prospect of beating everybody in your fantasy league with a Fitzmagical combo of the greatest Harvard quarterback of all time and Parker doesn’t get you fired up for playoff season, I’m not sure what will. It’s better to crash and burn in fantasy season than to slowly fade away. Just win, baby.
