NBA Draftkings – Top valued power forwards

Nicolo Melli versus Phoenix Suns ($4,500)

Another young athlete with a bright future is Nicolo Melli. He has put together three great performances now with 27.8, 28.8, and 34 fantasy points. Melli is also holding a usage rate of 16% while averaging seven points, three rebounds, and one assist per game. He has been averaging 16 minutes per game but has been well above that recently with 28 and 27 minutes in previous games.

We used to live in a time where we would pick on the Phoenix Suns, but they have made that a little more difficult recently. They are currently allowing opposing power forwards to average 23 points, 10 rebounds, and two assists per game while giving up 47.38 fantasy points to the position. There have been times this season though where the old Suns way have shown and if that happens tonight, Melli should be able to exceed his five times value.

Ersan Ilyasova versus Portland Trailblazers ($3,600)

This is getting deep in the value bin as Ersan Ilyasova has a nice opportunity tonight versus the Portland Trailblazers. They are currently giving up the third most fantasy points to the position with 53.85. They also allow them to average a double double with 25 points, 12 rebounds and three assist per game.  Hassan Whiteside can’t stop it all in the paint which makes Ilyasova a nice low salary play.

He currently holds a 15% usage rating while averaging .91 fantasy points per minute. Ilyasova averages five points and five rebounds per game with an occasional assist here and there. He has not been the consistent type of player that you would want to roster night as he just put up over 15 fantasy points for the first time in six games. This is a complete risk play that may backfire but if he hits his shot and is in your lineup, you’ll be fine.
