3. Philadelphia Eagles

The NFC Playoff picture is still very competitive, and that could prove to be a problem for the Philadelphia Eagles. With several Wild Card contenders sitting with only two or three losses, the 5-5 Eagles may need to win the NFC East to get back to the playoffs.

The Eagles blew a golden opportunity at a win last Sunday, when they played the New England Patriots very tough at home. A key drop by Nelson Agholor doomed the Eagles, who fell 17-10 to the defending champs to fall back to .500.

The good news for Philadelphia is that their schedule is much easier than the Dallas Cowboys down the stretch, and they host Dallas in a couple of weeks. Winning games will be critical for the Eagles, however, and this week against Seattle is one they have to get in order to take advantage of their soft stretch schedule.

The Seahawks were on bye last week, but one thing the Eagles could have to their advantage is the game time. This contest was originally scheduled for Sunday Night Football, but it was flexed out so the NFL could showcase the showdown between the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers.

The change has put this game back to 1:00 p.m. ET, meaning Seattle will be playing at 10:00 a.m. body time. That could be just the edge the Eagles need to pick up a crucial win and keep pace with the Cowboys in the division.
