DraftKings NBA Centers:

Best Bets:

Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,400): We have seen Towns totally dominate most interiors so far this year. Tonight will be no different. With Collins out, the Hawks don’t have anyone that has a prayer at containing Towns. The only things that can stop Towns are a blowout or foul trouble. The latter hasn’t bee as much of an issue this year. Neither has the former, for that matter.

Rudy Gobert ($8,600): If Gobert plays, he’s in a great spot against Milwaukee. I don’t know that I really trust Gobert anywhere, but he does have six straight games of more than 40 DraftKings points. He hasn’t flashed that massive upside yet this year, but Gobert will get you strong results at least. That’s a step in the right direction.

Honorable Mention:

Bam Adebayo ($7,100): Bam was locked down by Embiid, but the whole of Miami’s team stunk in Philly. I wouldn’t put too much into that game. Bam has a great matchup against a weak Charlotte front. We saw him drop a couple of 50’s last week in similarly strong matchups. Bam has superb upside and left owners with a bad taste on Saturday. We could get him at low ownership.

Tristan Thompson ($6,800): He’s playing the Nets and Love is questionable. If love doesn’t play, it may never get better than this for Tristan.

Richaun Holmes ($6,200): Holmes is finally on a team that isn’t afraid to play him more than 20 minutes per game. Holmes is seeing good run for the Kings and putting up big numbers more often than not. He has dropped over 40 DraftKings points twice in the last three games and gets a weak Boston front tonight. There is plenty of upside here.

Dark Horses:

Steven Adams ($5,400): This may be the first time all season that I play Adams. He is struggling on this team right now, but he has had two strong games for this price against the Warriors. Adams is one of the safer value picks out there. He doesn’t have a ton of upside, but it’s plenty high enough to use in any format.

Marquese Chriss ($5,000): Chriss is playing very well for the Warriors right now. Golden State still isn’t running Chriss more than 27 minutes per game, but he does a lot of damage when he’s in there. The upside remains capped since Golden State isn’t upping his minutes, but Chriss is a solid value play in all formats.

Mo Bamba (4,400): Khem Birch is starting, but he’s basically a placeholder. Bamba isn’t playing a lot of minutes even with Vucevic out, but he provides a high motor and lots of defensive stats when he’s in there. Bamba is a very good value play here, but as long as the Magic are capping him at about 22 minutes, his upside is severely limited.
