DraftKings college football running back picks November 26

Top Tier:

Levante Bellamy is the one guy that will be in all of my lineups. NIU’s run defense hasn’t been very good. Yeah, I expect ownership on Bellamy to be over 80%, but if we don’t use him and guess wrong, we have no chance.

Only Central Michigan has shut down Tre Harbison lately. Considering that Western Michigan allows an average of 189.2 rushing yards per game on the season, I’d say chances are pretty good that Harbison hits triple digits again. After Harbison there are barely crumbs for the NIU backups.

Middle Tier:

De’Montre Tuggle saved his stat line last week by taking his only carry of the game 53 yards for a touchdown. Both he and O’Shaan Allison had been splitting carries. That doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. Allison ran 12 times for 175 yards against Bowling Green. He will get the lion’s share of the totes once again here against an Akron team that is allowing 209.8 yards per game on the ground.

Bargain Shoppers:

Is it really possible that using a backup from Western Michigan is better than using the starting running back from Akron? Maybe. Davon Tucker had 12 carries last week behind Bellamy. Peter Hayes-Patrick led Akron with six carries (unless you count Nelson’s 16 carries in which 12 were sacks). PHP didn’t do a lot with the playing time either. If you’re going to play in this sandbox, target a team that’s going to be protecting a lead or trying to run out the clock.
